24 goals from our 5 First Division games today as once again we proved that the SCEFL is the place to come for your football entertainment.
Kent Football United upset the form book by holding FC Elmstead to a point in a game that the side from Dartford led twice in! They may be bottom of the table but a Rob Hicks double had the leaders worried, needing replies from Marcus Cassius and Ahmed Deen to ensure they walked away with a share of the spoils.
Rusthall are up to third after they handed Snodland Town a third consecutive defeat. Luke Adams and Tommy Lawrence both netted whilst Reuel Powell-Downey claimed a second half double.
Bridon Ropes made it back-to-back wins as they beat Lewisham Borough 4-1. James Murphy hit a double while Nathan Simpson and Liam Donaldson also got on the scoresheet as Ropes showed that last week’s victory was no fluke result.
Forest Hill Park ended a 3-game losing streak with a solid 3-1 victory at home to Stansfeld. Joji Phillips scored first and last as Forest moved above their beaten visitors into 10th. Greenways turned around a 2-0 half-time deficit to claim the points at home to Meridian VP. Nick Donaldson’s late winner has put the Greens in 8th.
