There may not be alot happening on the SCEFL pitches right now but some clubs have been very busy behind the scenes, looking ahead to the next campaign and making improvements in readiness for it.
Erith & Belvedere are one of those making changes and they have spent the past few weeks beginning a huge overhaul on their popular clubhouse at Park View Road.
Social distancing has restricted the workforce but Paul Springett hasn’t been afraid to get his hands dirty himself and these photos below show he is not messing around in his quest for perfection at the Deres.
Work looks to be coming along nicely and we all look forward to seeing the finished product in the following few months!
The Club have also been quick to announce their appreciation of the brave work NHS Staff have been doing of late and have shown that by dropping off goodies to a hospital at Easter and also inviting them to come and watch the side free of charge next season. Manager Del Oldfield explains that offer here.
From all of the Directors @EBTheDeres we would like to thank the @NHSuk for all the hard work that you are putting in. Dropping off Easter Eggs to the staff at Darent Valley Hospital. From one team to another. God bless you all 👏 pic.twitter.com/qrrvKfbdhV
