Croydon name Smith as Captain

Despite not having any football at the moment Croydon FC have given their fans something to look forward to by announcing that Martin Smith will be their Captain for the 2020/21 Season.

Smith is a forward that leads from the front and he certainly finished the last campaign well. He netted 5 times in the final 5 games as the Trams tried their best to chase down the teams hunting for a promotion place.

In additional news Croydon have also revealed that fan favourite Richard White will be once again committed to the Trams for another First Division campaign.

We may not yet know when the new season gets underway but we can be sure that with Smith wearing the armband Croydon are sure to be ready.
