Copley in as Snodland Manager

Snodland Town have announced that Simon Copley has agreed to take up the vacant managers job for the coming season.

Simon previously managed Glebe to a Cup Double while just missing out on winning the league title before moving on to Holmesdale.

He is a Youth Development coach at Arsenal FC full time.

He brings with him Ian Varley, well known in non-league circles and current manager of the Kent FA u18’s.

Steve Northwood will join as Goalkeeper Coach.

Chairman Dave Jeal: “We are very pleased to have moved quickly in appointing Simon and we are especially happy somebody of his quality and experience shares the clubs vision”

Further announcements on the management team to follow in the coming days.

Snodland have acted quickly to fill a gap left vacant when previous managers Simon Austin and Kane Rice left last week to take up positions at their former side Maidstone United.
