Chatham Town youngster joins Gillingham on Trial

Chatham Town have announced that young prospect Ike Orji is heading to Gillingham for a trial.

Attacking full-back Ike Orji will be hoping to impress the coaches at the First Division Club after being invited to train with them at Beechings Cross.

Orji has recently progressed into the first team at Chatham, playing 11 games during this past season and 15 times during the voided campaign before.

Chats announced the latest news on social media, saying: “Ike Orji has agreed to join neighbours Gillingham for a trial period. Good luck Ike.”
