Canterbury City reveal new signings

Canterbury City have announced the first six names to join them in the new era under Clive Cook

Deals have been completed with keeper Joe Mant, Jordan Wright, Jack Healey, Callum Emptage, Liam King and Clark Woodcock.

Joe Mant started last year as VCD Athletic goalkeeper before linking up with Horsham. He also spent time with Cook at Hythe Town.

Jack Healey comes in from Corinthian after helping that side to a second placed finish in this Division.

Callum Emptage is a former East Grinstead defender. The former Gillingham man was also at Hythe with this manager.

Jordan Wright, who played at Whitstable last year and has previously been at Ashford and Faversham.

Liam King is familiar with the home ground having played for Faversham last year. The young forward is sure to get plenty of goals for City.

Cook is also very pleased to have got Clark Woodcock from Sheppey United. The highly-rated youngster was near the top of the new managers wishlist and he is very happy to have got his man.

More signings will be announced next week with City now almost done with their Summer business.
