Glebe FC - A History

Glebe FC were founded in 1995 by the present Chairman & his wife, Rocky and Grace McMillan.

From humble beginnings with just 1 Under 8 Team, the club has progressed to one of the biggest and most successful clubs in SE London /Kent area with over 300 locally based members. Today we host 20 Junior Teams, 4 Vets Sides, 1 Ladies Senior Side and, of course, the First XI who play in the SECFL Premier Division, as well as competing in the FA Cup and FA Vase competitions.

We are based in Chislehurst, Kent, with 15 acres of grounds. In the last couple of years, we have moved in and built a wonderful new Sports and Entertaining Complex, comprising of 5 Pitches, a new Stadium Pitch, Floodlit Training Area, Multi-purpose Gym, 2 Reception Rooms with Bars and a Private Members Bar.

We are very proud to have been awarded the prestigious 'London FA Standard Charter Community Club of the Year Award' in 2014, voted by the Executive Committee of the London FA.
